1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the HopeSave platform, the User declares full acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of the terms, you must refrain from using the platform.
HopeSave reserves the right to update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
2. User Rights and Obligations
The User has the right to access the educational content on sustainability and philanthropy made available on the platform, provided it is for personal and non-commercial use.
It is the User's duty to:
- Provide true and updated information during registration.
- Use the platform in an ethical and responsible manner.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of HopeSave and third parties.
- Not use the platform for illegal activities or those that promote hatred.
3. Content and Intellectual Property
All content (texts, images, videos, courses) made available on HopeSave is the property of HopeSave or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws.
Reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any content without prior written authorization is expressly prohibited.
3.1. User-Generated Content
By posting comments or sharing experiences, the User grants HopeSave a non-exclusive license to use that content within the scope of the platform.
4. Limitation of Liability
HopeSave provides information for educational purposes. It does not guarantee the absolute accuracy or completeness of the content and is not responsible for decisions made based on it.
The platform is not responsible for:
- Direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
- Temporary service interruptions due to technical reasons.
- Content from third-party websites linked via hyperlinks.
5. Donations and Philanthropic Projects
HopeSave operates as an educational platform about philanthropy. Any donation made through links to partner organizations is a direct act between the User and the beneficiary entity.
HopeSave will not intermediate, manage, or be responsible for the use of donated funds. Users are recommended to verify the legitimacy of organizations before contributing.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
The processing of Users' personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
By using the platform, the User consents to the processing of their data for the purposes described therein, namely for personalization of educational content.
7. Account Termination
HopeSave may suspend or terminate the access of a User who violates these Terms, without prior notice and without the right to compensation.
The User may close their account at any time through the profile settings. Closure does not affect the license granted for already published content.
8. General Provisions
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Lisbon.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
